How Does It Work?
When you work with Voyage Media Works there is no guesswork. You will know up-front what you are paying for, how it will be built out and every step in the process until launch. We pride ourselves in being transparent and flexible because that’s exactly what we would expect if we were in your shoes.
1. On-boarding
The very first priority for our team is establishing a project scope. A clear objective for the website team to focus on and an understanding from both parties of expectations.
2. Estimate & Contract
Based on our initial meeting, we will create an estimate that outlines all the associated costs with the project. This only changes when you request a new function to be added, or we add large amounts of content. Some of our costs are one time fees, and others are recurring. This is because some functions on the website have to be renewed each year to maintain security, and functionality.
3. Content Collection
We ask that all content is given to us before we start a project. When this happens, our designers and SEO team can plan correctly. If we get content in segments, we then have to go back, rearrange and change layouts. This doubles our time involved and can lead to overall design issues. Your project manager will hop on a call and discuss any additional information we need to get started.
4. Build Time & Revisions
We build every website from scratch, instead of using templates like many of our competitors. This gives us full control over the design and maximum flexibility through the revision process. The first thing we will do is decide on the basic site kit, including fonts, colors and the general feel of the website. Once those decisions are made, we design the homepage based on our collaboration and send that to you for review.
5. Final Review
At this point, the website is done. Contact forms are active, any and all e-commerce integrations are ready to go, and we’ve setup the mobile optimization for the entire site. You just need to approve us going live!
